KATIE ANN LINDSEY is an active artist who has used her painting and drawing skills for over 50 years. She grew up in Southern California and received a teaching credential in Art Education from Cal State University Fullerton. 

She taught school art classes briefly then was hired by the Disney Company. Concurrent with her career, she continued to paint, draw and craft. She worked in visual merchandising and moved on to set decoration and event support.  Katie then advanced to head the Decorating Department at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. During 20 years there, she had a number of art and training related positions, including a two year project with the merchandising division in Tokyo, Japan. 

Throughout her life, Katie has made her living in art and home interior related industries. She has lived in Southern California, Japan, San Francisco, Nashville Tennessee, Memphis, and now resides in the Knoxville area. Katie continues to utilize her extensive training and education skills in art courses she is currently teaching.
